IRIS KRASNOW is the author of the New York Times bestseller Surrendering to Marriage, as well as Surrendering to Motherhood, Surrendering to Yourself, and I Am My Mother's Daughter. A longtime journalism professor at American University, she has appeared on numerous national shows, from Oprah and Good Morning America to All Things Considered, and of course, Hash Hags. Before that, she was the Dallas Times-Herald's fashion writer, and then UPI's national feature writer in Washington, where she specialized in celebrity profiles, including Yoko Ono, Ted Kennedy, Norman Mailer, and Queen Noor of Jordan. She lives in Maryland with her husband and four sons. She's been married for 23 years.

I really loved listening to this! I've been married for 3 1/2 years but together for 12. With 15 month old twins times have been tough, but its great to hear we aren't alone! I'm not willing to give up so easily as you say a lot of people do. I will be listening often!! Thank you and Happy Holidays!!
