IRIS KRASNOW is the author of the New York Times bestseller Surrendering to Marriage, as well as Surrendering to MotherhoodSurrendering to Yourself, and I Am My Mother's Daughter. A longtime journalism professor at American University, she has appeared on numerous national shows, from Oprah and Good Morning America to All Things Considered, and of course, Hash Hags. Before that, she was the Dallas Times-Herald's fashion writer, and then UPI's national feature writer in Washington, where she specialized in celebrity profiles, including Yoko Ono, Ted Kennedy, Norman Mailer, and Queen Noor of Jordan. She lives in Maryland with her husband and four sons. She's been married for 23 years.
